USB network card (also) for Linux: 61 147 DeLOCK USB 2.0> Ethernet adapter
Attention! Currently under Lucid, the adapter is NOT running more.
To get straight to the point - the device runs on Linux without a current driver installation immediately "out of the box" (tested on Debian Lenny and Ubuntu Karmic). Inside lies an Indian MOSchip 7830 . With the practical side you can buy all the boxes with a USB connection an additional network card. For example, a laptop as a bridge or router to use, or boxes without a network card to get online.
After plugging:

ETH5 thereafter exists and can be configured directly.
With it still is a driver CD with drivers for Windows and Linux, you may need to recompile the kernel module itself so well. The manufacturer offers a page with updated drivers for all major operating systems. And also by the chip manufacturers themselves, there is a driver download page .
A cool part. It will still have to prove themselves in daily use, but the first impression was very good.
